A friendly place?

Einstein was reported to have said

I think the most important question facing humanity is, ‘Is the universe a friendly place?’ This is the first and most basic question all people must answer for themselves.

Judging by the reaction (masks, lockdowns) to what is now recognised as nothing worse than the seasonal flu, it would seem that most, if not all those who donned face-masks would answer Einstein's question with a resounding "no, the universe is not a friendly place, it's scary and dangerous and we need to hide and protect ourselves".

All of which begs the question: how is it that so many are so afraid? What has gone wrong with our educational institutions, to leave so many ignorant of fundamental principles: that all is nonlocally-interconnected in an unlimited ground of potential (or "oneness", collective-unconscious etc) that enables and supports all life.

Indubitably, education is part of the answer to such widespread fear and ignorance.

Others abound, but ... with so many hiding away, one wonders if they're even game to look for that which can free them from their fears and anxieties.
